DONmarket · Polymarket
A trading interface that refuses your orders — and tells you why. Your key never leaves your wallet.
Where the tick is 0.01, nearly every live book sits at exactly one tick. Where it is 0.001, it does not — and reading those books shows why: a bid at 0.999 and no ask, a match already decided. A wide spread is still the absence of a counterparty.

An order that rests on the book is sent post-only, so it
can never cross the spread by accident. An order that deliberately
crosses is allowed — you are told the exact fee first, and asked to
send it a second time.

What this page refuses, and why
- Dead or trapped book A wide spread on a market with no volume pays on paper and never fills. Measured across every book, every day.
- Size at exactly the minimum A partial fill leaves a remainder below the minimum order size, so it cannot be sold. This trap cost us twice: once buying, then again selling, where 1.74 shares were stranded under a minimum of 5.
- Sell above the best ask Out of market: it cannot fill, however long it waits.
- Cancellation that strands a remainder Cancelling a partially filled sell can leave less than the minimum order size. The page says so before, not after.
- Invalid funding address A typo gets the order accepted, then rejected for insufficient balance, pointing at an empty address.
One thing it no longer refuses: an order that crosses the spread. It is warned about and priced — you see the taker fee in dollars before confirming — because refusing it outright decided for you.
